To begin with the weather of North; the persisting Western Disturbance has moved away eastwards. However, a fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect Jammu and Kashmir. Thus, light rain and snow is expected over the higher reaches of the state. Meanwhile, the weather over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and the northwestern plains will remain dry. Day temperatures are expected to remain above the normal level over the entire North India including the hills and plains.
Talking about the fog, shallow to moderate fog will occur over the northwestern plains.

Moving to Central India, the weather would remain dry along with clear sky condition over the entire region. Maximum temperatures will rise marginally over many parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. However, Rajasthan and Gujarat would witness marginal drop in day temperatures.
Coming to East and Northeast India, dense to very dense fog is expected over East Uttar Pradesh and parts of Bihar. Moderate fog at many places with dense fog in pockets is likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, West Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura.
Scattered showers are possible over Arunachal Pradesh, while isolated rain may occur over northern districts of Nagaland such as Mon, Longleng, Mokokchung and Tuensang.
Down South, the trough extending from south central Bay of Bengal across Sri Lanka persists. With this, scattered rain may occur over southern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Meanwhile, the weather over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will remain dry. Nights are expected to be cool and pleasant over North Interior Karnataka and Telangana.

Now let’s us have a quick look at the weather over major cities of India, Delhi will witness dry weather, along with shallow to moderate fog during the morning hours. Mumbai and Chennai would observe warm and sunny weather. While, cool and comfortable weather will persist in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Lastly, Kolkata is expected to witness warm day and cool night.
