A fresh Western Disturbance is affecting Jammu and Kashmir, which is likely to give scattered light to moderate rain and snow over the state and parts of Himachal Pradesh. The intensity is likely to increase in the next subsequent 24 hours.
Meanwhile plains of Northwest India will continue to witness dry weather conditions, leading to rise in both the maximum and minimum temperatures.
Similarly, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa and Kerala will also continue with hot and humid weather conditions. Particularly, day maximums in Mumbai will settle around 38C, making weather extremely hot.
We do not expect any relief from the hot weather in the next 3-4 days.
Now a trough is seen extending from Northwest Arabian to Southeast Arabian Sea. However, it will not give any weather activity.
