Weather Forecast for Feb 15: Hot Weather in Mumbai; Rain in TN, Kerala

The Western Disturbance is affecting Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, giving rain and snow in many parts. However, the intensity is likely to reduce.

Another fresh Western Disturbance is expected to approach Western Himalayas by February 17.

Meanwhile, weather over northern plains of India will remain dry. Day and night temperatures are expected to rise over the entire region as well as central parts of the country.

Weather over eastern parts of the country will remain warm and dry, with maximum temperatures settling in lower 30s.

Temperatures over Maharashtra, Telangana and Karnataka will continue to rise due to southeasterly winds across the region. Mumbai may witness a maximum of around 36-37°C.

Down South, weather will remain mostly dry; however South Tamil Nadu and parts of Kerala may record some rain and thundershowers.

A trough is extending from Maldives to Konkan & Goa region. In wake of this, scattered showers are likely over Lakshadweep Islands.
