A fresh Western Disturbance will start affecting Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh by February 14 evening. In wake of this, scattered rain and snow will commence over the states and gradually the intensity will also increase.
Meanwhile, both day and night temperatures are expected to rise marginally over the northwestern plains of India including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan and Wet Uttar Pradesh.
Rain and thundershowers over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand will now be replaced with clear weather conditions. Also, day temperatures will start rising over this region.
Coming to Northeast India, isolated rains are expected over Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
Down South, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Comorin area. Also, a trough is extending from this system up to North Tamil Nadu. With this, scattered rains are expected over the state including Chennai. Isolated activity may also occur over Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Rest of the country will continue to witness dry weather.
