A Western Disturbance is prevailing over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. Also, an induced cyclonic circulation is seen over South Pakistan and adjoining Rajasthan.
Together these systems will shift eastwards and influence the weather over the hills as well as plains of North India. Rain and snow is expected over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Hailstorm activity is also expected over parts of these states. The threat of avalanche also looms large during this time.

Meanwhile, the northwestern plains including Delhi and Chandigarh would witness fairly widespread rain and thundershowers, accompanied by hailstorm activity over some places. Delhi will witness cloudy weather, followed by light to moderate rain and thundershowers. Lucknow will too observe a cloudy day, with rain expected during the late evening hours.
Moving to Central India, a confluence zone has formed over Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana, with the merging of winds from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea. Thus, rain and thundershowers are likely over central parts of the country. Hailstorm is also predicted over parts of Vidarbha and Marathwada regions. Mumbai would observe a slightly warm and humid day.
East and Northeast India, both the regions will witness dry weather. Talking about the fog, scattered fog will be seen over northeastern states during the morning hours. Kolkata is likely to have a humid day, while Patna will witness cloudy weather.

An offshore trough is seen extending off Kerala and Karnataka Coast. Another trough is extending from Southwest Bay of Bengal up to Tamil Nadu. With this, scattered rains are expected over Coastal and South Karnataka and Kerala. Also, light rain may occur over extreme southern parts of Tamil Nadu.
There are possibilities of light rainfall over Bengaluru. Meanwhile, Hyderabad will have a cloudy day, followed by light showers. Chennai will observe a dry and humid day.
