With the Western Disturbance clearing away Jammu and Kashmir, dry and clear weather will make a comeback over both the plains and hills of North India.
In wake of clear sky and bright sunshine, maximum temperatures will start rising across the northwestern plains including Delhi-NCR, paving way for pleasant weather conditions. However, there will be no major change in the night temperatures.
The Western Disturbance has now approached northeastern states. Along with this, easterly winds are also blowing over the region. Thus, we can now expect light rain and thundershowers over East Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
Easterly winds are also reaching up to East India, due to which shallow to moderate fog will continue over East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Meanwhile in absence of any weather system, Central and South India will continue dry and warm weather conditions. In fact, there has been significant rise in mercury across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Vidarbha region of Maharashtra.
