Rain in Chennai is expected to increase on 9th and 10th December. After few occasional spells of light rain today, weather in Chennai is slated to become wet for next couple of days. Tamil Nadu will also continue to receive moderate rainfall as the Northeast Monsoon is expected to remain active over here. Major areas that will be affected by this rain include Chennai, Cuddalore, Nagapattinam, Karaikal and Pamban.
However, weather in North India and Central India will remain dry with slight nip in the air during early morning hours. Winter is yet to set in and high pollution levels in Delhi is making Delhi weather highly uncomfortable. However, shallow to moderate fog will keep making its presence felt during morning and night time.
