A fresh Western Disturbance is approaching the hilly region of North India and is presently marked over Afghanistan and adjoining North Pakistan region.

Meanwhile a cyclonic circulation is seen over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. However the system is not capable of giving any weather over the region.

Northwestern plains including Delhi will continue to witness pleasant and warm weather on Wednesday. No major change is expected in the temperature during next 48 hours.

All thanks to the anticyclonic circulation prevailing over Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas.

Central India will also witness similar weather conditions on Wednesday due the prevailing weather system.

Increased temperatures will lead to fog free mornings across Indo-Gangetic plains and central parts of the country, barring few places.

Up in Northeast India, the cyclonic circulation over Tripura and adjoining areas continues to persist. This will change the wind pattern from cold north westerlies to warm easterlies.

As a result, we can expect isolated light rain activity over parts of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday, leading to rise in minimum temperatures.

Moving down to Peninsular India, Northeast Monsoon has entered its last leg and has started retreating from northern parts of the region.

Meanwhile, the trough of low over southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas is still persisting. On Wednesday, we can expect scattered light to moderate rain over South Coastal Tamil Nadu and isolated activity over South Kerala.

Remaining parts of Peninsular India will continue to be mainly dry.
