Hilly states of North India including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will be witnessing clear weather conditions with good sunshine on Saturday.

Meanwhile, northwestern plains of Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh will have to brave cold and dry northwesterly winds. These winds are also reaching up to north coastal Maharashtra including Mumbai. As a result, cold weather conditions will now grip the plains of the region with minimum temperatures dropping further.

A cyclonic circulation is seen over Chhattisgarh and adjoining Odisha, which will bring scattered light rain over South Chhattisgarh, Odisha and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.

Another cyclonic circulation is over Meghalaya and adjoining areas. However due to lack of moisture incursion only isolated showers can be recorded over one or two places only.

Northeast Monsoon continues to be subdued over the region. However with moist easterly winds blowing over the region, chances of isolated light rain cannot be ruled out over Tamil Nadu on Saturday.
