The Western Disturbance has moved away. Remnants of the system will bring isolated rain over East Jammu and Kashmir, north Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Northerly and northwesterly winds will strengthen over the plains of North India. This will definitely decrease the intensity of fog. The cyclonic circulation over Meghalaya and adjoining regions will remain in the lowers levels. Mainly partly cloudy sky will bring isolated rain over the Northeastern states. Morning hours will be mainly foggy.
The anti-cyclone which was bringing moisture over Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand has merged with the winds coming from the Bay of Bengal. A cyclonic circulation over Vidarbha will now bring rainfall over this region.
In South Peninsula, the trough across the south Tamil Nadu will become insignificant. During the next 24 hours, isolated rainfall is likely over Tamil Nadu, South Kerala and Lakshadweep.
Morning temperatures are likely to come down by 2 to 3°C over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan. On the other hand, day temperatures could witness a marginal rise.
The cool northerly winds have penetrated up to the Peninsular India, bringing down minimums by 5 to 6°C over Mumbai, Ratnagiri and adjoining areas.
