A feeble Western Disturbance is approaching the hills of North India. The induced cyclonic circulation marked over Pakistan region is leading to change in wind pattern.
The prevailing weather systems will not bring any rainfall but only cloudy skies over the hills. We could also see moderate fog across North India on Wednesday morning. The moist easterly winds will be responsible for increasing obscurity in entire North and East India. Drop in minimum temperature will get arrested, while the maximums could see marginal drop. This condition will last for about 2 days.
On Wednesday morning we could expect dense fog in East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Northeast India. Road, rail and air traffic could be slightly affected. The cyclonic circulation over Northeast India has become less marked. Accordingly, isolated light rainfall will be confined to Arunachal Pradesh.
The confluence of dry westerly winds and moist easterly winds produced by the anti-cyclone over here will bring some rainfall mainly over Odisha and Chhattisgarh after 24 hours. Maharashtra and West Bengal will also receive some rainfall.
Northeast Monsoon rains will continue to be minimal. Light rains will be confined to Kerala, Coastal Karnataka and interiors of Tamil Nadu. Rest of Peninsular India will be mainly dry.
In Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi minimums will settle in the range of 5 to 8 degree Celsius. Maximums in the plains will remain near norm al levels around 20 degrees Celsius.
