Beginning with North and Northwest India, a Western Disturbance is prevailing over Jammu and Kashmir. In wake of this system, scattered rain and snow is likely over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
Meanwhile, moderate fog will be observed over northwestern plains including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, the night temperatures may increase marginally across Haryana, Delhi and North Rajasthan.

Talking about pollution levels, Delhi Pollution will remain high during the next 24 hours.
Moving to East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is over East Bangladesh. Besides this, easterly winds are blowing over the region. Due to this, dense to very dense fog would be witnessed over parts of Bihar, West Assam, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
Moderate to dense fog is also possible over East Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Coming to Central India, dry weather conditions will continue to prevail. It is anticipated that, minimum temperatures will stay below the normal over most parts of Gujarat, Marathwada and Vidarbha. These places will have a warm and sunny day.
Lastly in South India, a low-pressure area is persisting over Southeast Bay of Bengal. In wake of this weather system, light to moderate rain is expected over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

A cyclonic circulation is seen over Southeast Arabian Sea off Kerala Coast. However, the weather will stay dry with partly cloudy sky over the state. Remaining parts of southern peninsula will continue to be dry.
