Talking about the weather conditions across North India, A Western Disturbance is prevailing over Jammu and Kashmir. In wake of this weather system, scattered light to moderate rain and snow is likely over Jammu and Kashmir and at one or two places over Himachal Pradesh.

Meanwhile, Uttarakhand will remain dry. It is expected that moderate to dense fog will be observed over northwestern plains including Punjab, parts of Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, the day and night temperatures may increase across northwestern plains.
Moving to East and Northeast India, easterly winds are blowing over most parts of Northeast India. Due to this moderate to dense fog would be witnessed over Nagaland Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and parts of Meghalaya. It is anticipated that isolated rain may occur over Meghalaya. Dense to very dense fog is also possible over East Uttar Pradesh and many parts of Bihar. Due to fog the visibility levels may become poor affecting rail, road and air traffic.

In Central India, dry weather conditions will continue to prevail. However, the sky may become partly cloudy over West Rajasthan. It is anticipated that, Gujarat, Vidarbha and South Madhya Pradesh will have a sunny and warm day. Meanwhile, North Chhattisgarh and North Madhya Pradesh will have comfortable weather conditions.
Down South, a low-pressure area is persisting over southeast Bay of Bengal. It is likely to move in a northwest direction. In wake of this weather system, light to moderate rain is expected over Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places over South Tamil Nadu. Remaining parts of southern peninsula will remain dry.
