The Western Disturbance is seen over East Jammu and Kashmir. This system will give light rain and snow at isolated places over the region as well as Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In wake of this system, temperatures will fall over most parts of northwest plains including Delhi-NCR.
Due to dry and cold northerly winds, drop in both maximum and minimum temperatures are expected over Gujarat, Rajasthan & few parts of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
Talking about fog, moderate to dense fog will continue over North Rajasthan, Indo-Gangetic Plains, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and also in some parts of northeastern states.
Along with fog, light rain may also occur at many places over Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Nagaland due to a persisting cyclonic circulation over Bangladesh and a trough from this system extending up to Assam.
Another cyclonic circulation is seen over Southeast Bay of Bengal. This could give moderate showers over Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Also, some clouding can be expected over parts of South Tamil Nadu.
