To begin with South India, a trough is seen extending from east central Arabian Sea up till Equatorial Indian Ocean, Therefore, we expect scattered light to moderate rains over coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and southern parts of Tamil Nadu.
North Interior Karnataka will witness partly cloudy sky sans any rain. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will experience dry weather conditions. Whereas, scattered rains are possible over Lakshadweep and southern parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
In Central India, the weather will be dry pan central parts of the country. Cold Wave conditions are possible over isolated pockets of East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. Temperature of West Rajasthan is expected to drop by 1°C.
Up in North, a feeble Western Disturbance is over North Pakistan. However, we do not expect any weather activity over Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand. Minimums of the northwest plains might increase marginally leading to abatement in cold wave conditions. Moderate to dense fog is possible over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi -NCR and West Uttar Pradesh. Air quality over Delhi-NCR will continue to remain in ‘severe’ zone.

Dry weather conditions will continue to prevail over East and Northeast India. However, due to a cyclonic circulation over Assam, we expect isolated rains over Arunachal Pradesh.
Weather of northeastern states will remain dry with no significant change in temperatures over East and Northeast India.
