A trough has developed over Southeast Bay of Bengal which will bring scattered rains over South Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Another trough is seen extending in Arabian Sea from Lakshadweep region to Maldives, which could give some isolated showers over Lakshadweep Islands. However, both the troughs will not affect the weather over Indian mainland and South India will remain mainly dry.
Meanwhile up in North India, the Western Disturbance is over extreme North Jammu and Kashmir which is only capable of giving isolated rain over higher reaches of the state.
Now, cold and dry northwesterly winds will continue to blow over entire Northwest and Central India. These winds are also reaching up to the parts of East India. With this, night temperatures across Maharashtra, Telangana and Odisha will continue to settle below normal and few places may witness cold wave conditions as well.
However, northern plains including Delhi NCR will continue with bright and sunny day.
Talking about fog, moderate winds will continue to abate dense fog over northern plains but isolated may see shallow to moderate fog.
Meanwhile, dense fog will make a comeback over parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and North Jharkhand. This will be on account of increased levels of moisture due to a trough extending from East Uttar Pradesh up to North Odisha.
