Talking about the weather conditions across North India, The Western Disturbance has moved away and now a fresh Western Disturbance is approaching northern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. However, we expect the weather to remain dry over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand as well as over northwest plains.

At present, dry and cold northwesterly winds are blowing hence the minimum temperatures are expected to fall by 2°C-3°C over Northwest India. It anticipated that the intensity of fog will also reduce significantly across the regions. Delhi pollution is also likely to improve.
Moving to Central India, an anti-cyclonic circulation is over West Madhya Pradesh and neighbourhood. We expect further drop in day and night temperatures over Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Here the temperatures are expected to remain below normal. Dry winds from northwest India will continue to blow and hence the weather will remain dry.
In East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is persisting over South Bangladesh. In wake of this weather system moderate to dense fog is likely in parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Meghalaya. Few pockets of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar may also witness moderate to dense fog. Meanwhile, weather will remain dry over entire East and Northeast India.
Live status of Lightning and thunder
Moving to South India, a trough is extending from Southeast Bay of Bengal to Southwest Bay of Bengal. In wake of this weather system, scattered rains are expected over eastern parts of Tamil Nadu and southern islands of Andaman and Nicobar. However, weather across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra will remain dry.
