A cyclonic circulation can be seen in Bay of Bengal over Southeast Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This will give moderate rain and thundershowers over the islands.

A trough is also extending from this circulation up to Sri Lanka coast, which may give some scattered showers over South Tamil Nadu.

Weather over rest of South India will remain dry.

Meanwhile up in North India, a fresh Western Disturbance is approaching Jammu and Kashmir. With this, weather will become cloudy over the state as well as over Himachal Pradesh, however, weather activity is ruled out.

In wake of this, cold and dry northwesterly winds will continue to blow over entire Northwest and Central India. These winds are also reaching up to the parts of East India.

This may lead to drop in night temperatures across Maharashtra and North Karnataka, while cold wave will grip few parts of Interior Odisha and Chhattisgarh.

However, northwestern plains including Delhi NCR will continue with bright and sunny day.

Talking about fog, dense fog will continue to abate northern plains and would see shallow to moderate fog in some pockets only.

Meanwhile, a cyclonic circulation in Northcentral Bay of Bengal will infuse moisture over the parts of East India. As a result, we could witness moderate to dense fog over parts of North Bihar and East Uttar Pradesh.
