Talking about the weather conditions across North India, the Western Disturbance as an upper air system has moved further west wards and can be marked over North Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining Pakistan region. Now, the system is likely to move away from the Indian region.
At present north westerly winds are prevailing over northwestern plains and an anti-cyclonic circulation is also prevailing over the Central parts of Rajasthan. It is expected that, the higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir may witness light rain and snow at some parts. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to rise over same regions.

Ground frost is also expected over plains of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Haryana. In fact, dense fog at some places and moderate fog at many places is likely over Punjab, North Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh.
Cold wave conditions are also likely over the same areas. In fact, cold day conditions may also prevail in pockets of North Rajasthan and Punjab but are likely to abate after 24 hours. The temperatures may also fall marginally over West Uttar Pradesh and parts of Haryana. Meanwhile, Delhi pollution levels are not likely to rise in the next 24 hours.
Moving to East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is persisting over Tripura and adjoining Bangladesh. Light winds are also blowing over most parts of the northeastern states.
While moderate dry and cool northeasterly winds will prevail over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. The minimum and maximum temperatures are also likely to drop. Meanwhile, moderate with isolated dense fog is expected over the northeastern states and mist and haze over eastern states.
Live status of Lightning and thunder
Talking about central India, the minimum temperatures may drop by 1°C to 3°C during the next 48 hours over many parts. Mornings will remain cold and mist and haziness will prevail across Central India.
In fact, sky conditions may become partly cloudy over Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and adjoining Rajasthan. Meanwhile, Coastal Maharashtra may also witness rise in day temperatures.
Down South, dry weather is likely to prevail over most of the state. However, the coastal areas of South Tamil Nadu, South Kerala and Lakshadweep may observe light rain and thundershower activities.
