Remnants of Cyclone Vardah has reemerged in Arabian Sea and is presently seen a low pressure area close to Lakshadweep. In fact, weather conditions are favourable for its further intensification. With this, we can expect good rains over Lakshadweep region, while scattered rains will continue over Coastal and South Karnataka including Bangalore, parts of Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh.
Meanwhile, a fresh trough has developed in southwest Bay of Bengal, close to Tamil Nadu. As a result, we can expect some scattered showers over the coastal areas including Chennai.
Now moving into Central India, anti-cyclone is marked over Maharashtra, which will keep the weather dry and clear over the region.
Up in North India, the feeble western disturbance is moving across Jammu and Kashmir, which may bring isolated rain and snow over the higher reaches of the state.
Meanwhile, fog will continue to abate northern plains on Friday as well. All thanks to the dry and cols northwesterly winds which have picked up pace. Parts of East Uttar Pradesh will also witness reduction in fog leading to marginal increase in day temperatures. While, clear sky will pave way for drop in both day and night temperature across northwestern plains including Delhi NCR.
