Vardah, which is now seen as a low pressure area, has further weakened into a cyclonic circulation and has moved further away from the Indian coast.
A trough is also seen running from this system along the West Coast. With this, light rain at isolated places will continue over parts of South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, Telangana, Karnataka, Goa and Kerala.
Maharashtra could also witness cloudy weather with chances of very light rain.
Up in the northern hills, winter chill will further tighten its grip over Jammu and Kashmir as night temperatures may fall marginally.
Meanwhile, intensity of fog will reduce but moderate to dense fog will occur over isolated places over Indo-Gangetic plains including northeastern states.
Now, Cold and dry northwesterly winds blowing from these areas will also intensify winters over Northwestern plains which have been enjoying comfortable weather conditions so far.
