In South India, the deep-depression lies over South Bay and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal. It may gradually intensify into a cyclone and move in north-west direction towards South Andhra Pradesh and North Tamil Nadu coast. Sea conditions will become rough over Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu coast. Wind-speed will also increase gradually. Isolated light rains may commence by night of December 14 over these regions.
To begin with North India, the Western Disturbance has moved away eastwards. Now, the icy cold winds from Western Himalayas will drop both day and night temperatures over the plains of Northwest India. Delhi pollution may improve further because of prevalent north-westerlies.
Moving to Central India, northerly cold and dry winds are blowing over most parts of Central India. Therefore, we expect weather to remain dry and both day and night temperatures to fall further over Rajasthan, Gujarat and West Madhya Pradesh. Marginal fall in both day and night temperatures is also possible over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra.

Lastly in east/northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Meghalaya and adjoining areas. But we do not expect any significant weather activities over the northeastern states. Minimums of most places in East India may drop marginally and due to prevalent dry winds from north-west, weather will also remain dry.
Talking about fog, shallow fog may form over parts of East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Gangetic West Bengal during morning hours.
