After battering Chennai and Bangalore, Cyclone Vardah has now dissipated and is seen as a cyclonic circulation over Southeast Arabian Sea.
With this, rain belt has also shifted and good rains are now expected over Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, Konkan and Goa region and Kerala. Scattered rains will also continue over Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
Bangalore and Chennai may also see light to moderate rains.
Meanwhile up in the country, Western Disturbance is moving across North Jammu and Kashmir, which may give isolated rain and snow over the higher reaches of the state.
Meanwhile, dense fog will continue to grip East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, while northern plains of Delhi-NCR, Punjab and Haryana will witness shallow to moderate fog only.
Continuous flow of dry and cold northwesterly winds will lead to further decrease in fog over the northern plains in the coming days.
