The prevailing Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir is now clearing away the region. However, remnants of the system would continue to impact the weather over hills of North India. Both Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh would see scattered rains and snow, while Uttarakhand could witness isolated activity. Foothills of Himalayas such as Chandigarh, Jammu and Dehradun would also witness light rains.

Meanwhile, the induced cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan and Haryana has become less marked. As a result, weather across the plains of Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi-NCR would now go dry. With this, minimum temperatures would drop significantly which would eventually intensify the winter chill.
Fog will also make an appearance during the morning hours, dropping the visibility across the plains including Delhi-NCR but it will soon get better as the sun comes up.
An anti-cyclone is seen over Odisha and adjoining areas, which would keep the weather clear across Central and East India.
Up in Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is marked over Assam region, with this isolated light rains are expected over southern parts of Northeast India.
Live status of Lightning and thunder
Down south, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Comorin region and a trough is extending from this system to Tamil Nadu. With this, we can expect rains and thundershowers over Kerala and South Tamil Nadu. Remaining parts of South India would witness mainly dry weather only.
