The depression over Odisha and adjoining areas has now weakened into a well-marked low-pressure area and has moved ahead. Thus, light to moderate rain is possible at many places over Chhattisgarh, North Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan with few heavy spells. Meanwhile, Vidarbha and rest of Madhya Pradesh may have scattered rain.

But at the same time, rain activities in Konkan & Goa will increase. Even Mumbai and Pune might see slight increase in rainfall. Light rain is also likely in one of two places of South Gujarat.

Further along the West Coast, the intensity of rainfall has already increased in Kerala and Coastal Karnataka, which is likely to continue for the next few days. Light to moderate rainfall in parts of Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh also cannot be ruled out. Whereas Monsoon will remain weak in the interior parts of the Southern Peninsula.

Up in North, the axis of Monsoon trough has now shifted south, due to which the rainfall in West Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and North Rajasthan will now decrease. However, rain and thundershower are possible in some places.

However, hilly states would continue to record good Monsoon rains. A cyclonic circulation is marked over Jammu & Kashmir which would give moderate to heavy rains over parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
