Beginning with East/Northeast... The region has been witnessing vigorous Monsoon conditions. All thanks to the well-marked low pressure area over Odisha. The system will give heavy to extremely heavy rains over Odisha during the next 24 hours, while Gangetic West Bengal including Kolkata and Jharkhand will get light to moderate rain with isolated heavy spells.
Moderate rain and thundershower are also possible at North Andhra Pradesh, North Telangana including Hyderabad, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha with one or two heavy spells.
The impact of the system will also be seen over other parts of East and Northeast India. Scattered rain and thundershower are also possible over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, and East Rajasthan.
Rains could once again also increase over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Assam Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Meanwhile, Monsoon rains would once again pick up pace along the West Coast from South Konkan & Goa, Coastal Karnataka to Kerala on account of strengthening of westerly winds. Mumbai would once again see light rains. Monsoon would remain subdued over rest of South India.

Lastly in Northern India, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy spells could continue over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, scattered rains are also expected over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh.
