Active Monsoon conditions continue to grip parts of Central India. All thanks to the cyclonic circulation marked over East Madhya Pradesh, North Chhattisgarh and adjoining South Uttar Pradesh. The axis of Monsoon trough is also passing across this system.
With this, fairly widespread rains are expected over parts of Uttar Pradesh and North Madhya Pradesh. Simultaneously, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and Northeast India would also see scattered rainfall activities.
Meanwhile, the cyclonic circulation over Gujarat and adjoining Rajasthan will now become less marked. However, light showers would still occur over East Rajasthan and parts of Gujarat.
Meanwhile, along the West Coast, Konkan & Goa including Mumbai, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala would get to see light to moderate rainfall. Similar weather events are likely over Tamil Nadu including Chennai, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema, wherein light to moderate rains are possible. Meanwhile, rains will remain on the lighter side for Telangana.
