Weather Forecast for August 28: Low pressure to give Monsoon rain in Odisha, MP, Chhattisgarh, Konkan, East Rajasthan

Starting with Central India, the active well-marked low pressure over Jharkhand, Odisha and adjoining Chhattisgarh is likely to give moderate to heavy rains with isolated very heavy showers over parts of East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

At the same time, light to moderate with isolated heavy falls are possible over rest of Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan. Light to moderate showers are also likely over scattered pockets of Vidarbha, parts of Gujarat and Konkan & Goa as well.

Moreover, similar weather activity of scattered light to moderate rainfall is likely to strike East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. There are chances of isolated heavy falls over northeastern states including Sikkim and parts of Odisha during the next 24 hours.

Simultaneously, Coastal Karnataka would see light to moderate with isolated heavy spells, while Interior parts of the state along with Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North Tamil Nadu and Kerala might observe scattered light rains.

At last in North, light to moderate spells are possible over Uttarakhand and West Uttar Pradesh with isolated heavy falls. Whereas Himachal Pradesh, parts of Punjab, Haryana and Delhi are expected to endure light to moderate rainfall activities.
