Beginning with South Peninsula, the flood condition in Kerala is worsening day by day and we do not foresee any relief in short span as heavy rains are likely to lash Kerala during the next 24 hours.
In Coastal Karnataka, moderate to heavy rains will continue, while Interior Karnataka may have moderate rainfall. Tamil Nadu and parts of Andhra Pradesh may see light showers.
Moving onto Center of India, a well-marked low pressure is marked over South Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha, which will move further westwards. Thus, heavy rains are likely in Vidarbha, Marathwada and Southwest Madhya Pradesh.
Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rains can occur in Gujarat and the rest of Maharashtra. Moderate to heavy rains are also expected in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Vadodara. However, rain in Chhattisgarh will reduce.

Now North, the axis of Monsoon trough has shifted south, which will reduce the rainfall activity over the region. In Punjab, Haryana, West Rajasthan and parts of West Uttar Pradesh, light rain and thundershower can be seen. Rain is expected at many places in East Rajasthan. In hills, light rains will occur in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, although Uttarakhand may see moderate rainfall in.
At last in East India, rain in Odisha, Jharkhand and West Bengal will now decrease, although light to moderate rainfall may occur at few places. Northeastern States, East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar may too get some rainfall.
