A Western Disturbance is seen moving eastwards. Due to this, rains over Jammu and Kashmir are expected to reduce. But Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand may continue to receive light to moderate rains.
The axis of Monsoon trough is running from Amritsar up to Northwest Bay of Bengal across Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. A cyclonic circulation is also seen over central parts of Uttar Pradesh. With this, scattered light to moderate showers are expected over northern districts of Haryana, Delhi-NCR region, Northeast Rajasthan and many parts of West Uttar Pradesh. Whereas, weather of Rajasthan and South Punjab will remain almost dry.
Coming to East and Northeast India, due to the influence of the Monsoon trough, good rains are expected over eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh, foothills of Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. Meanwhile, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and Coastal Odisha will also receive isolated light rains. Though moderate spells are likely over Interior Odisha.

Under the influence of cyclonic circulation over Central Uttar Pradesh, good rains are likely over East Madhya Pradesh and North Chhattisgarh. However, one or two spells of light rains cannot be ruled out over Vidarbha and South Chhattisgarh. The weather of Gujarat, West Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Maharashtra will remain almost dry.

An offshore trough is seen extending from South Konkan up to Kerala. With this, light to moderate rains will continue to occur over Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. Light to moderate rains are expected over Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Chennai and Mumbai may witness light rains. The weather of remaining parts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and Interior Karnataka will remain almost dry. Though isolated light rains cannot be ruled out over these areas.
