Fresh Western disturbance is over Jammu and Kashmir. The axis of Monsoon trough is running close to the foothills of Himalayas. Therefore moderate to heavy rains will continue over hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Moderate to heavy rains are also possible over Northern parts of Punjab and Haryana. Good rains will continue over west Uttar Pradesh as well. Remaining parts of northern plains including Delhi will receive isolated rain activities.
In east India, foothills of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and parts of Assam and Meghalaya will receive light to moderate rains at many places. Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha and remaining northeastern states will also receive scattered light rains.

Coming to central India, subdued rains will continue over Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. While, Vidarbha and Marathwada will remain almost dry. Light rains are expected at few a places over Gujarat and South Rajasthan.
Down South, Light to moderate rain will continue over South Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka and Kerala. Scattered light rains are also possible over Costal Andhra Pradesh and parts of Tamil Nadu. However dry weather is likely to continue over Telangana, Rayalseema and interior Karnataka.

Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow will receive light to moderate rains while Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru will remain dry.
