The cumulative rainfall deficiency in the country still remains at 3%. As of now Central India is the best performing region in the country.

By tomorrow, the cyclonic circulation lying over Southwest Rajasthan will move over central parts of the state. The low pressure will move inland over north coastal Andhra Pradesh.

The axis of the Monsoon trough will pass through North Rajasthan to east-central Bay of Bengal across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and coastal Andhra Pradesh. Due to the combined effect of all these weather systems, moderate showers are likely at many places over east and southeast Rajasthan including the Gujarat region. West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Telangana and coastal Andhra Pradesh will also receive good rains tomorrow.

Scattered light to moderate rains are expected over Marathwada and Madhya Maharashtra.

The off shore trough is running from South Gujarat to North Karnataka. This will bring light to moderate rain and thundershowers over Konkan and Goa and Coastal Karnataka. Kerala will continue to receive subdued rains. Mumbai rains will reduce significantly.

Rainfall will increase over northeastern states due to incursion of moisture from the Bay of Bengal. Part of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh will remain mainly dry.
