The cyclonic circulation over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining South Odisha off west-central Bay of Bengal has now intensified into a low pressure area. With this, widespread moderate rains with isolated heavy falls are expected over parts of Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Vidarbha.
The cyclonic circulation over South Rajasthan continues to persist. The Monsoon trough is currently passing through Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha across the low pressure area, further into east-central Bay of Bengal. Under the influence of these systems, light to moderate rains may occur in some parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
Down south, the activated off-shore trough continues to persist from Coastal Maharashtra up to Kerala. With this, we can expect light to moderate rains over Konkan and Goa including Mumbai, Coastal Karnataka and North Kerala. However parts of Maharashtra, Rayalaseema, North Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and Kerala may witness light rains.
Moving to north India, the western disturbance as a trough can be seen over North Pakistan. Due to this, hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand will receive light Monsoon rains on Saturday. Rains and thundershowers also expected over the northwest plains including Delhi.
While east and Northeast India may receive light to moderate showers.
