The low pressure area which was seen over Northwest Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Uttar Pradesh has now shifted and is marked over Central Rajasthan.
Another cyclonic circulation is seen over Odisha and adjoining Jharkhand. Now the Monsoon trough is running through these systems across South Rajasthan, North Madhya Pradesh, South Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha and further into Northeast Bay of Bengal.
Thus, we can say that multiple weather systems will bring moderate showers over Gujarat region, Southeast Rajasthan, North and West Madhya Pradesh.
Scattered light to moderate rains also cannot be ruled out over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, interior Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh and parts of Madhya Maharashtra.
The northern plains of the country, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, along with the hilly states, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will also receive scattered light Monsoon rains on Thursday.
The off-shore trough has activated once again and is now extending from Coastal Maharashtra up to Kerala. With this, we can expect light to moderate rains over Konkan and Goa including Mumbai, Coastal Karnataka and North Kerala. However Monsoon will remain subdued over Tamil Nadu, Interior Karnataka and Northeast India.
