The low pressure area continues to be stationed over North Chhattisgarh and adjoining parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. With this, fairly widespread moderate to heavy Monsoon showers are likely over parts of Uttar Pradesh, Northeast Madhya Pradesh and North Chhattisgarh.
The cyclonic circulation is also seen over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab. The axis of Monsoon trough is also running from this across Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, centre of low pressure area, Jharkhand and further up to Northeast Bay of Bengal.
Due to this, good rains will continue over North Punjab, East Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, while, scattered showers can also be seen Delhi-NCR and East Rajasthan.
Now the intensity of rains will decrease over East India but light to moderate rains will continue Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha. Northeast India will also witness similar weather activity.
Moving down south, the feeble off-shore trough continues to run along the West Coast, giving mainly moderate rains over Konkan and Goa and Coastal Karnataka. Meanwhile, interiors of Peninsular India including most parts of Maharashtra will continue with subdued Monsoon rains.
