The low pressure area has shifted further westwards and is now seen over Central Uttar Pradesh and North Madhya Pradesh. With this, moderate to heavy Monsoon showers are likely over Uttar Pradesh, North Madhya Pradesh, North Chhattisgarh, and adjoining Bihar.
Now a fresh cyclonic circulation is seen over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab. The axis of Monson trough is also running from this across, Delhi, centre of low pressure area over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and further up to Northeast India.
Due to this, scattered rains will continue over Punjab, Haryana and Delhi-NCR, on Saturday, while, intensity of rains will increase over North Bihar, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.
In addition to this, the Western Disturbance is also moving across Jammu and Kashmir, giving moderate to heavy rains over Uttarakhand.
Moving down south, the feeble off-shore trough continues to run along the West Coast, giving mainly moderate rains over Konkan and Goa and Coastal Karnataka.
Meanwhile, interiors of Peninsular India including most parts of Maharashtra will continue with subdued Monsoon rains.
