Southwest Monsoon has received normal rains so far.
The cyclonic circulation over North Gujarat and adjoining areas of West Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan will bring moderate to heavy showers over South Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh and some parts of Gujarat.
There is another cyclonic circulation lying over Haryana and adjoining areas. This will bring moderate to heavy rains over West Uttar Pradesh, parts of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Delhi will witness scattered rains.
The axis of the Monsoon trough will run along Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand. Therefore, we expect good rains over East Madhya Pradesh, North Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, parts of Southeast Uttar Pradesh and Gangetic West Bengal.
The North-South trough is extending from Madhya Pradesh to Tamil Nadu across Vidarbha. It will give fairly widespread rains over South Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Telangana.
The Monsoon surge is active along the West Coast and we expect good rains to continue over South Gujarat, Konkan & Goa and coastal parts of Karnataka. People in Mumbai will once get an opportunity to enjoy good rains.
Tomorrow, Southwest Monsoon will remain subdued over Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
The upper air cyclonic circulation over Bay of Bengal has intensified into a low pressure area. It is now lying over has formed over northwest Bay of Bengal. This system will bring widespread rains over coastal parts of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal
The cyclonic circulation over Assam has now become less marked, leading to decrease in rainfall activity. West Rajasthan will be mainly dry.
