The affecting western disturbance has moved away from Jammu and Kashmir, bringing the much needed relief from the floods over the state. Mainly clear weather will now prevail over the hilly region of North India.

Similarly, northwestern plains including Delhi NCR along with Central India will witness dry and warm weather with strong winds blowing across the region. However, mornings will remain pleasant.

Moving to east India, a trough can be seen extending from North Bihar up to south coastal Odisha across Gangetic West Bengal. With this, thunder storms or thundershowers along with lightning strikes may occur over the places along the trough line.

Down south, the cyclonic circulation continues to prevail over North Interior Karnataka, while another circulation is over Comorin region. A trough can be seen running between these two systems that may give rain and thundershowers over parts of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and adjoining Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

Bengaluru also stands a chance of some isolated thundershowers or thunderstorms, while hot weather will make a comeback over Mumbai.
