Western Disturbance is over eastern Jammu and Kashmir and is likely to clear away the region during the next 24 hours. With this, scattered light to moderate rain and thundershowers will continue over Jammu and Kashmir and over parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Flood-ravaged Kashmir will also get some relief from incessant rainfall.

Meanwhile, plains of northwest and central India will witness clear and dry weather. However, people across the region could witness strong winds that would decrease both the day and night temperatures marginally.

Moving on to eastern region, a cyclonic circulation is over Jharkhand and adjoining West Bengal. With this, scattered rains may occur over some parts of Jharkhand, West Bengal and Bihar on Saturday.

Another cyclonic circulation is seen over North Interior Karnataka and adjoining areas. The system will continue to infuse moisture over the southern parts of the country and as a result, pre-Monsoon activities such as isolated rains, thundershowers and thunderstorm may occur over few places of Interior Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

One more cyclonic circulation is seen over Comorin region, that is likely to give rains over Kerala and adjoining Tamil Nadu. However, North Tamil Nadu including Chennai and Rayalaseema region will reel under intense hot and humid weather amounting to heatwave like conditions.
