The previous Western Disturbance has moved away while a fresh one will start affecting weather in North India from tomorrow. Rain and snow likely in Jammu and Kashmir, parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The induced cyclonic circulation marked over Punjab and Haryana will bring some thundery activity along the foothills. Both these weather systems will leave their impact till the 7th of April. Thundershowers will bring some relief from heat in places like Pathankot, Jalandhar, Amritsar and Ambala. Don’t be surprised if some of these weather activities trickle down to Delhi-NCR.
Northeast India will continue to witness rainy weather in view of the well marked Cyclonic circulation over Bangladesh and Gangetic West Bengal. Southeast Assam, Tripura, Mizoram and Meghalaya will receive good showers.
The trough moving across this region will bring another rainy day in Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand and adjoin Chhattisgarh.
Coming down to the hottest part of the country, we can still see this trough extending from Vidarbha up to Kerala across Karnataka, Rayalaseema and Telangana. Isolated light rain will continue along this trough line.
Nevertheless, no relief likely from heatwave as any kind of rainfall activity will occur only during the second half of the day. Temperature will exceed 40°C in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
