The persisting Western Disturbance is now moving away. However, light rain is expected to continue over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Foothills of Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh may also witness some thunderstorm and thundershowers.
A cyclonic circulation is over parts of Uttar Pradesh. Due to this system, western parts of Uttar Pradesh as well as north and central parts of Madhya Pradesh may receive scattered dust storm or thunderstorm activity. Delhi may see some rainfall as well.
Coming to East India, the persisting trough will give light rain over the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal. Kolkata will also witness some rains. Scattered rains will continue over Northeast India as well.
Coming to the southern parts of the country, another cyclonic circulation is over North Interior Karnataka. A trough is also extending from this system up to South Tamil Nadu. With this, interior parts of Karnataka as well as Kerala may receive some good rains. The possibility of thunderstorm and rain over Bengaluru cannot be ruled out.
