April 26, 2017 7:59 PM |

A Western Disturbance is seen over Jammu and Kashmir, which has also induced a trough extending from Haryana to West Uttar Pradesh.

Due to this, scattered light to moderate rain and thundershower are expected over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and isolated parts of Uttarakhand.

Light rains, thundershowers or thunderstorm with lightning strikes may occur over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, North Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh. Few places might even see dust storm.

Meanwhile, Central India will remain hot and dry though we are likely to observe partly cloudy sky, but chances of rains are ruled out over this region.

Coming to East India, a trough is extending from Sub-Himalayan West Bengal to Tamil Nadu across Telangana and South Interior Karnataka.

Due to this, few spells of rain are expected over Gangetic West Bengal, Sikkim and adjoining parts of North Odisha. But heatwave conditions are likely to continue over Interior Odisha.

Meanwhile in Northeast India, rains will now reduce over the region but Assam and Arunachal Pradesh will receive light to moderate thundershower activities.
