At a time when the eastern states have been witnessing blazing heat, North India has been enjoying fairly comfortable temperatures during last few days. Entire North India will not experience any significant weather activity in terms of precipitation during the next few days. But, we could now see a rising trend in temperatures. Nevertheless, weather conditions here will be nothing as compared to the eastern states.

Flooding rains will continue to wreak havoc in Northeast India. The culprit is this cyclonic circulation which has been strengthening with moisture incursion from the Bay of Bengal. We cannot rule out hailstorm as well over this region for the next few days. Weather will remain nice and pleasant over here with maximums in high twenties and minimums in lower twenties.

Another weather producing system will be this East-West trough extending from North Odisha to Maharashtra across Chhattisgarh. It could possibly bring some light rain and thundershowers in places lying along the trough.

Nevertheless, no relief likely from life threatening heatwave in Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarsh and Telangana.

The wind discontinuity extending from Maharashtra to Comorin region will bring very light rain and thundershowers over interiors of Tamil Nadu, South Interior Karnataka and Kerala. Rain will anyway not be good enough to bring any major relief from hot weather conditions in Rayalaseema, Telangana and adjoining areas.
