A Western Disturbance is seen over North Pakistan and its induced cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan.
Due to this, isolated rain and thundershower activities are expected over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and foothills of Punjab.
Meanwhile in plains, due to the high temperatures and increasing humidity we may expect isolated thunderstorms and dust storms over Delhi/NCR, Haryana and Rajasthan.
However, heatwave conditions will continue to grip northwestern plains.
Central India will remain hot and dry. No relief is in offing for the next few days.
Moving in East and Northeast region, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Bihar and adjoining areas.
A trough is extending from this system up to Tamil Nadu across Chhattisgarh and Telangana.
Due to this, good rains will continue over northeastern states, Sub- Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
However, down south, trough will not affect the weather over Interior Odisha, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and heatwave conditions will continue to persist.
Meanwhile, scattered light rains may continue over Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu and South Karnataka.
Rest of the region will remain dry.
