Weather Forecast for April 25: Rain in Karnataka, West Bengal; hot weather in Delhi

The western disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir is moving away.

However, the system will give scattered light rains over the state of Jammu and Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh with isolated showers over Uttarakhand and the foothills of Punjab.

Its induced cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining North Rajasthan. With this isolated dust storm and thunderstorm activities are expected over North Rajasthan.

Northwesterly winds will blow over North Indian plains keeping the temperatures under check. However, Delhi will remain hot with maximums settling in the last 30s

As far as Central India is concerned, southwesterly winds from the Arabian Sea will keep the maximums close to normal levels over Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.

Coming to East and Northeast India, a cyclonic circulation is seen over Northeast India. Fairly widespread rain is expected over the northeastern parts along with few areas in West Bengal.

A trough is extending from this system up to Tamil Nadu across Odisha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. With this some rains may occur over Odisha.

Down south, the persisting trough may give some rains over South Interior Karnataka, Kerala and isolated areas of interior Tamil Nadu.
