The Western Disturbance is on its way out and a fresh one is approaching the western Himalayas. It will start affecting weather in the hills by April 22. For now, this region will witness pleasant weather conditions while the plains will become warmer. Partly cloudy skies and absence of weather activity will lead to partial rise in temperatures.
Northeast India continues to compensate for the all India pre-Monsoon showers. The cyclonic circulation will bring scattered rains over the region. The trough extending from this system up to coastal Andhra Pradesh will bring only localised isolated rains along the trough line.
Coming down, the weather models suggest a rainy patch over Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. While this trough will bring light rains over South Karnataka and adjoining interiors of Kerala.
No relief from heatwave conditions over will West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana and Rayalaseema. Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Titlagarh, Bilaspur, Anantapur and Kurnool will be among the hottest cities of the country.
