A deep depression over Central Bay Of Bengal is likely to intensify into a Cyclone Mora by Saturday evening or night. With this, scattered rains are expected over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The deep depression will continue to move in north- northeast direction towards Myanmar Coast.
The system is too far to affect over east coast of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha will see cloudy weather. With this, scattered rains may continue over Kerala.
In north India, the affecting Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir is now moving away. With this the hilly states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will have pleasant weather condition.
Meanwhile, northwestern plains and parts of central India will continue to reel under hot and dry weather.
Severe heatwave to heatwave conditions will continue to grip parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh. However, we can expect slight relief over Gujarat due to the winds blowing from Arabian Sea.
Moving into Eastern region, light rains may occur over the parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Assam but East India will remain dry.
