We are just half way through April and day temperatures have already surpassed the 45 degree mark in the eastern states. We now have to wait and watch what May has in store for us. As of now let’s take a look at the weather forecast for tomorrow.

The approaching Western Disturbance seems to be tracking extreme northwards, bringing only isolated rains in the northern hills. An active weather system is not likely before the weekend. The northern plains including Delhi will witness pleasant weather conditions during morning hours. Day will be warm and sunny but windy conditions will not make matters oppressive.

Northeast India will receive light to moderate showers for now. The intensity and spread will increase only by the fag end of the week.

Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh will remain hot and dry. In Peninsular India, the wind discontinuity will bring only isolated rainfall along the trough line.

No relief likely from heatwave conditions in East India. The trough running from Sub-Himalayan West Bengal to Odisha will not do much for the two states witnessing record breaking heat at the moment.

The pocket of heatwave will also comprise of Bihar and Jharkhand. Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalaseema and North Interior Karnataka will see a rising trend in temperatures, amounting to heatwave conditions shortly.

In West India, Gujarat had been enjoying below normal temperatures so far but now the day temperatures are rising. Tomorrow the coastal areas will have hot and sultry weather.
