Dry weather conditions are likely to continue over the Northwest Indian plains including the hills of North India. Moderate dry winds from the northwest will continue over the Indo Gangetic plains. Maximums are likely to rise in Northwest India including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan.

Coming to Central India, temperatures in Gujarat have increased significantly during the last 24 hours. Further rise is expected in terms of both maximum and minimum temperatures. However, heatwave will remain abated from the region.

In East India, a cyclonic circulation is seen over the northern parts of Bangladesh. A trough from this system is extending up to North Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Due to these weather features, humid winds from Bay of Bengal will increase the moisture over Northeast India resulting in scattered rains over East Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. East India will remain dry during this period.

As far as South is concerned, a trough is extending from Interior Karnataka to Kerala. This system will give some rainfall activity over Kerala. The possibility of isolated rains over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka cannot be ruled out.

Another circulation persists over the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Thus, good rains will continue over the southern islands of Andaman region.
