Today let us start with the weather over East and Northeast India, the ongoing rains over eastern parts of the country are now expected to decrease as the pre-Monsoon trough running from Jharkhand to Tamil Nadu has now shifted eastwards, However, scattered light rains over Gangetic West Bengal and Odisha are likely to continue. In fact, isolated thundershowers are also expected over Jharkhand.
The sky is expected to remain partly cloudy over the city of Joy, Kolkata, with possibilities of light rain.
Patna would too witness partly cloudy sky but the weather will be dry.

In Northeast India; Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh would witness scattered rain and thundershowers. Remaining parts of the region would remain dry.
The trough would also give scattered rain and thundershowers over Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. Isolated rains are also expected over South Interior Karnataka and Interior Tamil Nadu.
However, dry and warm weather will linger over North Interior Karnataka and Coastal Tamil Nadu.
Bengaluru would settle with light rains, and partly cloudy sky. Hyderabad would also see rains during the next 24 hours.
The city of Chennai will have warm and humid weather, with partly cloudy sky conditions.

Moving up North, a cyclonic circulation can be seen over Northwest Uttar Pradesh and a trough is extending from this system up to North Rajasthan across Haryana. Thus, isolated light rain and thunderstorms may occur over parts of Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh.
The national capital Delhi-NCR will witness partly cloudy sky conditions, with chances of light thunderstorms. The city of Nawabs, Lucknow would remain warm, with bright sunshine.
Meanwhile up in the hills, light rain and thundershowers are expected over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
In Central India, Chhattisgarh is likely to see isolated thunderstorms, while the weather over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat and South Rajasthan would remain warm and dry. However, we expect medium and high clouds over parts of Gujarat and Rajasthan.
